Meet Kai Kelly
What kind of classes do you teach?
I teach small group fitness classes that have elements of pilates, yoga, kick boxing and body weight training creatively fuzed together for a killer full body workout.
Where were you raised and where do you currently live? Age, if ok.
I was born and raised in near Dallas, Texas. I have lived in Orange County, California for the past 16 years and have recently relocated home to Dallas!
What motivates you to get up in the morning?
I posses a strong drive to truly live each day to my fullest potential, physically, mentally and spirituality. A huge part of that drive incorporates inspiring others through fitness, yoga and life coaching. Most mornings my alarm goes off early to meet a private personal training client.
Is there a book you’re reading right now?
The Subtle Art of Not Giving a Fu*k by Mark Manson is a counterintuitive approach to living a good life and a must read!
If you could only do two workouts a week, what would it be?
Infrared heated yoga and rowing work outs
Is there a teacher that you love learning from?
I had countless teachers I LOVED learning and growing from in Orange County. I have just recently started to discover more classes, teachers and studios in Dallas.
What is your favorite way to spend a day outdoors?
I love being outdoors near water, the ocean, a lake or even a pool. I find water healing, tranquil and peace providing. Usually my mini-husky, Kooper will be by my side with a friend or family member. Having a great conversation while eating exercise in outdoors is my absolute favorite.
Are there any charities you support?
Maggie's House and Nexus are women's shelters and addiction treatment centers in Dallas that are near and dear to my heart.
Where can we find you teaching classes?
Currently I am providing one on one training and small group training at HORWORX in Dallas and I also travel to client's homes or company gyms.
Last, what is in your gym bag?
Wireless head phones, Yeti water bottle, hair ties, and an extra jacket or hoodie.
