Meet Personal Trainer Jourdan Baldwin
What kind of classes do you teach?
I am a personal trainer but teach small group fitness classes with women of about 3-8 at a time. I focus on strength training, HIIT and mobility and also pair nutrition if I am doing a series program. I love the smaller groups because it creates a perfect environment for building community and deeper connection.
Where were you raised and where do you currently live? Age, if ok.
I was raised in Littleton, Colorado and now live in Denver, Colorado. I’m in love with this city! I just turned 30!
What motivates you to get up in the morning?
Coffee! It’s the best thing in the world! I also love my clients. Getting to see them get stronger each day is so fulfilling for me and I love the connection I get to share in.
Is there a book you’re reading right now?
I am always reading. Just finishing up Can’t Hurt Me by David Goggins.
If you could only do two workouts a week, what would it be?
This is a hard one. I love so many forms of exercise! But ultimately I love lifting weights and feeling strong and also get rejuvenated in nature. So trail running and strength training would be my 2.
Is there a teacher that you love learning from?
I have so many great teachers I learn from depending on the subject. Andy Frisella is my go to for business. For fitness I love Tim Ferris and Dr. Kelly Starett.
What is your favorite way to spend a day outdoors?
I love getting outside early before anyone is awake. It’s majestic and the sunrises are magical. Mountain biking keeps me in a meditative zone as I can’t focus on much else while I’m doing it, so I love being on 2 wheels. The best feeling is getting to a peak and looking down - feeling so big and so small all at the same time. Then when that’s over I like to finish it up on a patio with a mug of a local pilsner and a quality burger!
Are there any charities you support?
Yes! I am a member of the Shining Stars Foundation. We help kids with cancer get to experience life to the fullest while they can. It is an incredible organization and has made me look at life in a whole different light. I’ve never seen kids smile like some of these kiddos have ❤️

I am at Vital Strength and Fitness in Capital Hill. Get in touch with me to join a small group ! I am also organizing a sweat crawl with studios this summer, so meet me at any of those as well!
Last, what is in your gym bag?
30+ random hair ties. Resistance bands. Headphones. Rx bars. A jump rope. Gum. iPhone adaptors (you never know when this will become a lift savor for an instructor). My Kindle. Extra clothes. Dry shampoo.
